You've been invited

Open the link in your invitation email. Sign in with the address that received it, then choose Accept invite. The invite expires after 14 days. If sign-in opens in another browser, open the invite link there again.

Follow Install Edge on the machine where you work, including registration with your agent host.

Open <the hub's address>/settings/api-keys#enrol, replacing <the hub's address> with your Common Measure Hub address, or choose Enrol this machine under Connections in the sidebar. Ask an owner to confirm that a policy is published. Run the install command the card prints in your project directory and approve the code it shows at <the hub's address>/connect, signed in. To use a token instead, enter an Edge name, choose Mint enrolment token, and run the printed command on your machine within 15 minutes. See API keys for enrolment and recovery.

Alternatively, ask an owner to mint a token under API keys → Enrol an edge, choosing you as the member, and send you the printed command to run on your machine within 15 minutes.

Open your agent in the project directory. Invoke /commonmeasure:enrol (Claude Code plugin) or $commonmeasure-enrol (Codex), or ask your agent to enrol this project; with commonmeasure install claude the MCP server offers context_enrol instead. Then choose a project name and Hub reporting or local-only recording. The CLI entry point is commonmeasure enrol; the project enrolment reference lists the options needed to change its reporting choice.

The folder path stays on your machine. Reporting includes existing eligible records in the selected directory and its descendants; related Git worktrees need separate enrolment. Local-only recording needs no owner approval.

For Hub reporting, ask an owner to approve your project under Project reporting; a member’s request waits until they do. If you are an owner, your own request is approved when you make it and needs no visit to that page. Run commonmeasure enrol --sync and check that reporting is permitted, then work as usual. Source restrictions and confidential exclusions still apply. See project approval for expiry, opting out and what is reported.

Codex needs the background relay to send eligible records automatically. Follow that guide to install the relay loop on macOS; on other systems, use its periodic relay instructions.
